Otho Smith Dutton, 84 years old of Reisterstown, died April 17, 2012 at the Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.

Born March 1, 1928 in Owings Mills, he was the son of the late Otho S. Dutton, Sr. and Sarah Clark Dutton-Hughes.

He was the husband of Frances Madden Dutton, his wife of 64 years.

He was a graduate of Benjamin Banneker High School in Catonsville and attended A&T College in North Carolina. He worked as a route salesman for over 50 years, retiring from Glyndon Lord Baltimore Cleaners after 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church since 1961. He was a devoted Trustee at the Church, served as Treasurer on the Church Finance Committee and was involved with the maintenance of the church properties. He also sang with the Men's Choir, the Sanctuary Choir and the Gospel Choir.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Bill McKoy, grandson Ron T. Dutton, sister Minnie Chase, mother-in- law Mrs. Annie Milligan, cousin William "Billy" Taylor, brother-in-law Amos Madden, sister-in-law Janice Madden Norton and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were held on April 21, 2012 at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Reisterstown with Interment in the Church cemetery.
