Pastor John Charles Rudd, 70, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born on April 12, 1951, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Charles Randolph and Sadie Margaret Boyle Rudd. He was the beloved husband of Mary Grace Rudd.

John graduated from the University of Maryland, where he played basketball for the Terrapins. For many years he served as the pastor for Reisterstown Baptist Church. John enjoyed bowling and all types of sports. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are daughters: Karina Cobb and husband Jeff, and Pamela Nicknadarvich and husband Bruno, daughter-in-law: Paula Ulery, grandchildren: Kristin Masincupp and husband Jason, Steven Wise, Ian Manicom and wife Sarah Paddock Manicom, Sarah Manicom, and Erik Ulery, great-grandchildren: Reggie, Ryan, Reagan, Riley, Anne Marie, and Samantha, siblings: Sandy Midgeley and husband Richard and Thomas Rudd and wife Meok, and a nephew: Michael Midgeley.

He was predeceased by a son: Curtis Ulery.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12, at 4 pm at Reisterstown Baptist Church, 25 E Chestnut Hill Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136.

Interment is private.

Arrangements are by ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., Owings Mills, Maryland.
