Patricia Baseman Chazen

Patricia Baseman Chazen, 75, of Pikesville, MD, passed away on October 7, 2026, at her home in Pikesville, MD. A lifelong Maryland resident, she was the loving daughter of the late John and Elaine Baseman. Patricia was the loving partner of Sheldon Chazen, and mother of Robert Chazen.

In addition to Sheldon and their son Robert, Patricia is survived by her siblings: John Baseman, Jimmy Baseman, Bo Baseman, Lauretta Baseman, Nancy Baseman, De Baseman, and Danny Baseman. She is also survived by many friends and extended family.

She was predeceased by her brother: Michael Baseman.

Patricia worked as a speech pathologist for Baltimore City School System, and she was a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Pikesville, MD.

Patricia loved music, yardwork, flowers, food, and coffee. Most of all, she loved her family. She enjoyed watching her son play sports, vacationing in Ocean City, and playing the lottery. Throughout her life she had many faithful canine companions, giving life to her great love of animals.

Funeral services and celebration of life, by request, are private.
