Patricia Ann Thornton Fout, 74, of Manchester died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born December 23, 1938 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John Matthew Thornton and Evelyn Catherine Wedekind Thornton. She was the wife of Donald Charles Fout, Sr., her husband of 55 years.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church in Manchester and was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, painting ceramics, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Donald C. Fout, Jr., Kathleen A. Fout, and Kelly P. Wagner and husband John T.; her brothers Thomas E. Thornton and Kevin M. Thornton and wife Joann; her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a Requiem Mass celebrated 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester with her pastor the Rev. Fr. Michael Roach as celebrant.
A private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester and the interment will be private.
