Patricia Ann Jarkowiec, 73, of Upperco died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at her residence.
Born March 12, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Woods and Dorothy M. Sauer Woods. She was the wife of John M. Jarkowiec, her husband of 53 years.
She was an instructional assistant at the Chatsworth Elementary School.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her son and daughter-in-law John, Jr. and Elizabeth Jarkowiec of Upperco; her daughters and sons-in-law Cynthia and Jack Knies of Finksburg, Christine and Patrick Feehan of Haymarket, VA, and Kathleen and Ryan Bowen of Finksburg; her brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph Woods of Beltsville and Richard and Patricia Woods of Timonium and Josephine Hines of Dundalk; and her eleven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Glyndon, 65 Sacred Heart Lane.
A private cremation will be held at the All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
