Patricia Gayle Mackert

Patricia Gayle Mackert, 82, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Brightview Westminster Ridge in Westminster, MD. Born on January 22, 1943, in Tazwell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Gerald Stone and Eddie Mae Totten Stone.

Pat graduated from Brooklyn Park High School in 1961 and worked for NSA for 35+ years. She enjoyed two tours overseas in both England and Japan. Pat loved traveling abroad. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-granddaughter, Ryleigh. Pat loved spending time at the beach and going to the opera.

Surviving her is a daughter: Amy Herdegen and husband Larry of Manchester, MD, grandson: Thomas Wright and wife Caitlyn of Glen Burnie, MD, great-grandchild: Ryleigh Wright, and sisters: Maysha Nash of Cape Coral FL, and Mary Schack of Clearwater, FL. Pat is also survived by nieces: Lisa Zimlin, Jennifer Bombassaro, Stephanie Records, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother: Larry Stone.
