Patricia Ann Oursler passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Carroll Lutheran Village, where she resided for the past 20 years. Pat was born on August 10, 1934, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Gilbert and Margaret Whitcomb Gill. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1952, and married her high school sweetheart, Bernard L. Oursler in 1955, he predeceased her in June 2023.
In her early years, she was an executive secretary for a law firm in Baltimore. She retired from the State of MD at Maryland Public TV. After moving to Carroll Lutheran Village, she did volunteer work in the assisted living and healthcare center and was also a greeter in the Krug Chapel.
Pat is survived by her sister: Ruth Gill King and her husband William King of New Oxford, PA, some nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by Vicki Ryan, who was her friend and caregiver for the past 3 years.
She was predeceased by her 3 brothers: Gilbert, Jr., Charles E. and Thomas L. Gill.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, from 1 – 2 pm, at the Krug Chapel, Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle Westminster, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 2 pm. A reception is to follow the service.
A private graveside interment will take place in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Carroll Lutheran Village, Benevolent Fund.
Arrangements are by the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., Manchester, MD.
