Patrick Charles Gary, Sr.

Patrick Charles Gary, Sr., 68, of Manchester, MD, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his home. Born on January 19, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Edwin and Louisa Marie Sipes Gary. He was the beloved husband of Anita Genevieve Blake.

Patrick worked for over 40 years as an Orthotist for The Brace Shop, Inc. Other activities that he enjoyed were leatherwork and collecting coins.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Pat Gary, Jr., and wife Shannon of Edgewood, MD, Tim Gary and wife Natalie of Bedford, Indiana, Chris Blake and wife Amy of Manchester, MD, Amanda Blake and fiancé David Bortz of Westminster, MD, and Rob Blake and wife Heidi of Hanover, PA, grandchildren: Patrick, Nicholas, Andrew, Timmy, Lindsay, Reagan, and Dillon, 4 great grandchildren, siblings: Jesse Gary of Baltimore, MD, Marie Irvin of Glen Burnie, MD, and Debbie Nickey of Jessup, MD, and also many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son: Rob Bailey.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 19, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 20, at 12 pm. Interment to follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville, MD.
