Patsy Ann "Pat" Howard, 76, of Hampstead died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Hidden Treasure Assisted Living in Westminster.

Born on October 25, 1933 in Baltimore County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Eugene Howard and M. Elizabeth Fowble Howard.

Years ago she did customer service and secretary work for L&L Brick Supply, Co. and also worked for Wrights Radio in Hampstead. She was the past president of the Lineboro-Manchester Lions Club, member of the Eastern Star, and a member of Bixlers United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her sons and daughters in law Melvin and Beverly Gill of Hanover, PA, and Howard and Paula Gill of Mississippi; her grandchildren Corey Brooks, Beth Gill, and Bryce Gill; her great grandchildren Taylor Hollinger and Cole Brooks; her sister Betty Howard O'Brien of Hampstead and also survived by numerous cousins.

She was predeceased by her former husband Charles Edward Gill, Sr, who died in 1988; her son Charles Edward "Eddie" Gill, Jr., her sister Bessie Marie Howard; and her longtime friend Murray Ryan.

The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Parkinson Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or Bixlers United Methodist Church, 3282 Charmil Drive, Manchester, Maryland 21102.
