Paul George Barnes, Sr., age 90 of Owings Mills, MD passed Monday July 6, 2015 at the Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD.
Born June 22, 1925 in Baltimore he was the son of the late Charles and Augusta Getty Barnes. He was the beloved husband of the late Vivian Marie Donecker Barnes who died Sept. 28, 2012.
Years ago he was a self-employed Roofer. He was an Army Veteran of WW II.
He is survived by his children, Paula M. Wingate and husband Ray of Sykesville, Phyllis A. Kieffer of Owings Mills and Paul G. Barnes, Jr. of Reisterstown. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, siblings, Charles Barnes of Louisiana, Joan McDonald of Chicago and Louise Battin Michigan.
He was predeceased by 8 siblings.
A private graveside service will be held for Paul and his wife Vivian in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tall Cedars Foundation, 2609 North Front St., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
