Paul David Hare, Sr., 58, of Hanover, PA died Friday July 15, 2011 at the York Hospital in York, PA.
Born March 29, 1953 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mary Calp Hare. He was the husband of Mary Lou Walker Hare.
He was a traffic controller for the Southwestern School District.
Years ago, he was a sprinkler installer for Fire-Mac.
He was a member of Millers United Methodist Church and a member of Pleasant Hill, Manchester and Arcadia Volunteer Fire Departments.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Carrie Lynn Hare and Paul David Hare, Jr. both of Hanover, PA; his grandchildren Gabrielle Alexis Hare and Paul David Hare, III; and his brothers Ronnie, Bill and Gary Hare.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 23, 2011 at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Chapel and Crematory, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., P.O. Box 389, Manchester, MD 21102 to defray the funeral costs.
