Paul Lester James, 79 years old of Reisterstown, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.
Born April 1, 1931, he was the son of the late Lester James and Verna Scott James.
He was the husband of Margaret Gaskell James.
He served honorably with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for IBM for 30 years retiring in 1986 as an Engineer. He played football for Pittman High School in N.J. and was recently inducted into his High School Hall of Fame. He also held a private pilot's license and loved to fly.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses: Michael and Jewel James of Owings Mills, Stephen and Cathy James of Reisterstown and Bill James and his fiancee Dana Kibler of Finksburg, his sister Arlene Miller and her husband John of New Jersey and 5 grandchildren: Kalyn, Kyle, Megan, Karli and Johnny.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM and Friday from 10-11 AM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, 21117 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM.
Interment Private.
