Pauline Marie Belcher, 79 years old of Reisterstown, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at her home.
Born April 7, 1932 in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada; she was the daughter of the late Walter Bourgoin and Cecil Ouelette Bourgoin.
She was the wife of the late Edward (Ned) P. Belcher.
She was one of fourteen children. She married Edward Belcher in 1952, moved to New Jersey and got her U.S. Citizenship shortly afterwards. She was a homemaker. She had lots of health issues over the years, was very resilient, always bouncing back, but lived in constant pain from numerous back surgeries. She lived alone in Shippensburg, PA after Ned's death in April of 2003 until she moved in with Mike and Cindy in Reisterstown, MD in 2007.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Elizabeth (Betti) and Rev. Paul Lang of Iowa, Michael and Cindy Belcher of Reisterstown, Katherine(Kim) and Charles Wickersham of South Carolina; grandchildren: Rev. Jason Lang and wife Heidi, Geoffrey Lang and wife Catherine, Jody Indri and husband Robert, Zachary Belcher and wife Kara, Amanda Merena and husband Zack, and Molly, Sean and Kelly Wickersham; great grandchildren: Rebekah, Catherine, Douglas, Briana and Avery Lang, Callie and Colton Merena and Hunter and Giovanni Indri; siblings: Elsie Bourgoin, Florence Marquis, George Bourgoin, Martine Senechal and her husband Jean-Eudes, Marie Lourdes Thibault, Georgette Muldrow, Laurette Fournier, Elizabeth (Bidou) Henry and Marcel Bourgoin and his wife Francine. Also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her son, Jonathan Belcher in 1993 and brothers: Walter Jr., Louis, Maurice and Claude Bourgoin.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Crossroads Community Church, 895 Leidy Rd. Westminster, MD 21157. Pastor Reid Robinette officiating.
Interment is private.
