Pauline Mary Folk, 92, of Lineboro, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Hanover Hospital in Hanover, Pa.
Born March 13, 1920, in Lineboro, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Elsie Wildasin Armstrong. She was the wife of Donald Tracy Folk, her husband of 65 years, who died March 30, 2009.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lazarus Lutheran Church, where she was the organist for more than 60 years. In addition, she was a member of the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Auxiliary of Carroll Lutheran Village. She was a member of the Lineboro Friendship Club and the Triple Valley Homemakers Club.
She was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing and crafts in her spare time.
Surviving are children Elaine Folk Marshall, of Raleigh, N.C., and Robert Folk and wife Sandy, of Lineboro; granddaughter Michelle Mitchell and husband Scott; great-granddaughters Olivia and Cara Mitchell; and nephews David and Paul Bortner and their families.
She was predeceased by her twin sister Eileen Bortner; and sons-in-law William Holdford and Solomon Marshall.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester; and from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Monday at Lazarus Lutheran Church, 5101 S. Church St., Lineboro, with Vicar Victoria Larson officiating. Interment will be in the Lineboro Cemetery.
