Phyllis Margaret Briggs

Phyllis Margaret Briggs, 90, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Lorien Encore at Turf Valley in Ellicott City, MD. Born on January 30, 1933, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James Jenkins and Barbara Matilda Wagner. She was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd "Dutch" Oliver Briggs, Jr., who passed away in 2016.

Phyllis enjoyed going to Ocean City with her family and spending time at their beach house. She loved chocolate martinis and milkshakes. She was a past parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Glyndon.

Surviving her are children: Donald Edward Briggs and wife Rose, Kenneth Thomas Briggs and wife Jackie, Theresa Ann Briggs, Richard Lloyd Briggs and wife Tara, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Phyllis was predeceased by siblings: James, Hilary, Donald, and Jennette.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, February 12, from 11 am to 3 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, February 13, at 10 am.

Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
