Phyllis Louise Fowble Redding, 84, of Westminster died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Westminster.
Born on Wednesday, March 4, 1925, she was the daughter of the late George Maurice Fowble and Erma Rachel Shaffer Fowble. She was the wife of the late Roy Daniel Redding, who died February 7, 2004.
Mrs. Redding was a retired from the meat department at Maurer Millers Meats. She was a long time member of Millers United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was the treasurer for the church and Sunday school.
Surviving are her daughter and son in law Kathy and Eddy Baker of Westminster; her grandchildren Pam, Todd, and Kelly Baker all of Westminster; her great grandchildren Dalton and Dylan Baker; her brothers Fred Fowble of Goldsboro, NC, and Russell Fowble of Manchester; and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Robert, William, Frank and Jim Fowble.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Millers United Methodist Church, 3435 Warehime Road, Millers with Rev. Darryl Zoller officiating.
Interment will be in the Millers United Methodist Church Cemetery.
