R. Scott King, 44 of Manchester, MD died suddenly Wednesday Oct. 12, 2016 at his home. Born Dec. 5, 1971 in Carroll County he was the son of Noble Darrell King of Manchester and the late Margaret Virginia Miller King. He was also survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Lori Mae King.
Years ago, he worked for Weis Food Market in the deli department. He had also worked for Black and Decker as a security guard.
Surviving in addition to his father and wife are aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and longtime friend, Tracey Maye Wertz Kaylor.
The family will receive friends on Saturday Oct. 15, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A. 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD from 5-7pm with a funeral service to begin at 7pm. Interment will be private. If desired donations may be made to the funeral home towards final expenses.
