On Wednesday, March 2, 2011, RACHEL W. BORGEN, nee Mather, 88, of Dover, PA formerly of Reisterstown died at York Hospital in York, PA.
She was the beloved wife of the late Leif R. Borgen, her husband of 46 years, who died in 2006; mother of the late Lois Kathleen Smith; grandmother of Lola Gonzalez, Melissa Ruppert, and Emory Smith, Jr.; great grandmother of Jennifer Gonzalez, Jessica Smith and Krista Ruppert; and sister of Frances Harvey.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a funeral service held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 15311 Dover Road, Reisterstown with the Rev. Dick Harden officiating.
Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Heartland Hospice, 3417 Concord Road, Suite C, York, PA 17402.
