Ray Martin Stone

Ray Martin Stone, 86, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at BridgingLife Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born on January 20, 1938, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Paul Addison Stone and Doris Schollian. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Florence Matilda Stone.

Ray retired from BGE after working with them for 40 years.  After retirement, he worked with RETCO. He was a very hard worker. Ray was a member of the Reisterstown Moose Lodge 1577 and the Independent Order of Foresters.  He enjoyed going to coin shows and flea markets.  He was a collector; over the years he has built his collection of coins, baseball cards, and other sports memorabilia.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are sons: Michael Stone and wife Joy, Steven Stone and wife Pamela, grandchildren: Kahlyn Johnson, Madison Stone, Sophia Stone, and great-grandchildren: Paisley and Charli Johnson.

Ray was predeceased by his brother: David Paul Stone.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, at 11 am, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD.

Interment is private.
