Raymond Charles Machlinski, Sr., 72, of Reisterstown died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.
Born September 21, 1938 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John J. Machlinski and Agnes Bew Machlinski. He was the husband of Dorothy Jane Morris Machlinski, his wife of 48 years.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a brewer for Carling-National Brewery for over 30 years. He served as the union president of Local 1010.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter and son-in-law Kimberly D. and John Neighoff of Harmony, PA; his son and daughter-in-law Raymond C., Jr. and Jacque Machlinski of Hanover, PA; his grandchildren Sgt. Bradley, Heather, Shannon, and Zachary Neighoff; and also survived by an extended family.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with Msgr. Lloyd Aiken officiating.
Interment will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville.
