Raymond Lamar Strevig, Jr., 73 of Manchester, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at his home.
Born September 11, 1937 in Lineboro, he was the son of the late Raymond Lamar, Sr. and Helen Marie Bitzel Strevig. He was the husband of Josephine Catherine Reed Strevig his wife of 50 years.
He was a retired sheet metal worker and plant manager for Pritchard and Brown.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Westminster V.F.W. and the Reisterstown Moose.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter and son-in-law Tammy Lynn Strevig-Hare and William hare Jr., of Lineboro; a brother Kenneth Richard Strevig of Finksburg, and his grandchildren Justin Scott and Jacob William Hare both of Lineboro.
He was predeceased by a son David Lamar Strevig.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Matthew S. Schenning officiating.
Interment will be in the Lineboro Cemetery in Lineboro.
