Resurreccion Marana Bascos

Resurreccion Marana Bascos, 96, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born on April 1, 1924, in The Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Flaviano and Tiburcia Marana. She was the beloved wife of the late Celestino Bascos.

Before moving to America, Resurreccion worked as a teacher in The Philippines. She was well-loved by all of her students, and they would always visit her when she made trips back home. She enjoyed drawing, gardening, and cooking. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon, MD. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are children: Zenaida Bascos and husband Michael Goodson, Virgilo Bascos, and Samuel Bascos and wife Rosemarie, grandchildren: Steven, Samantha, Lovely Ann, Miki, Leinberg, Joyce, Lucky Sam, Donnel, Jewel, and Ria, and great-grandchildren: Lelou, Inah, Basty, Amber, Arielle, Peng Peng, and Yan Yan.

A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg, MD.
