Richard Leroy Calp, 48, of New Freedom, PA formerly of Manchester died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born June 8, 1964 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Robert Landon Calp and Vera Lorraine Parry Calp of Manchester. He was the partner of Lisa Ann Lemire of New Freedom, PA.
He was an avid Ravens fan, who enjoyed the outdoors, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents and partner are his sons Cody and Kyle Calp; his step daughters Arin Marie and Billie-Jo Lemire and Jessica Ann Ariosa; his sisters Bonnie Rill and Cindy Georg and Husband Darrell; his grandmother Goldie Calp; his granddaughter Rian Aisleigh Calp; his step grandchildren Skylar and Aubrey Ann Goyden, Francesca Kreider, Nevaeh Jackson, Justice Williams and Ayva Ariosa; his nieces Heather Georg and Jennifer Whitestone and husband Chris; his godson Ben Reed; and also survived by his numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Calp.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday.
A private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel and the interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, Central Maryland Chapter, 4600 Mt. Hope Dr., Baltimore, MD 21215.
