Richard Brace Dix III, 36, of Hanover, Pa., died unexpectedly Sunday, May 10, 2009, at his home.
Born Aug. 20, 1972, in Towson, he was the son of Marie Trainer and husband Andrew, of Upperco; and Richard Dix and wife Melody, of Thurmont. He was the husband of Jenifer Benedict Dix.
He was a 1990 graduate of North Carroll High School and he had attended Wor-Wic Community College. He had also worked at Lamco Safety Products.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, stepparents and wife, are his grandmother, Anna Palermo, of Boring; sister and brother-in-law Deniece and Bob Schaeffer, of Westminster; a niece, Jenna; and nephews Alec and Dean.
He was predeceased by grandparents William Palermo, and Richard and Margie Dix.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Timothy Feaser officiating. Interment will be private.
