Richard Glenn Entrekin age 68 of Finksburg, MD died Friday July 18, 2014 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born Nov. 21, 1945 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Glenn Hollis and Florence Leach Entrekin. He was the husband of 42 years to Christine D. King Entrekin.
He was a graduate of Towson State and had worked for the Baltimore City Public Schools as a substitute teacher. He delivered newspapers and was an usher for the Orioles and Ravens. He was a veteran and served in the Air Force at McQuire Air force Base in New Jersey.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Harry Entrekin of Taneytown and Robert Entrekin of Hampstead, grandson, Alex Entrekin of Taneytown, sister, Carol Engle and husband James of Baltimore County.
A graveside service will be held at St. Mark's Church Cemetery, Snydersburg, MD. 21074, on Friday July 25, 2014 at 10:00am.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory, Manchester,MD.
