Richard Vincent Merryman

Richard Vincent Merryman, 63, of Upperco, MD, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021, at his home. Born on May 6, 1957, he was the son of Leuvene L. Merryman of Upperco, MD, and the late Granville E. Merryman.

Richard worked as a farmer and truck driver. In his younger years, he liked drag racing. He enjoyed watching the rodeo, his two cats, and above all else, spending time with his grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving him in addition to his mother are daughters: Kristen Price and Cierra Merryman, grandchildren: Tegan, Aven, and Brynn Price, a sister: Denise Merryman, and a nephew and niece: Kyle Martin and Karianne Gay.

The family will receive visitors for a memorial gathering on Monday, April 5, from 1-2 pm at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 15300 Dover Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136, where a memorial service will begin at 2 pm.

Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name may be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
