Richard James Musser

Richard James Musser, 59, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Born on May 4, 1960 in Baltimore, he was the son of Barbara Marie Christie and the late James Musser. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer Musser and they were married for 26 years.

Richard owned and operated his own company, Chinquapin Contracting.  A master craftsman, he had a passion for building custom furniture; he even built his own house. A loving son, devoted husband and father, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are children: James Musser, Kyle Musser, and Alexandra Musser, grandchildren: Jordan and Rachel and siblings: Rosemary Wood, and Terry Alascio.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 17, from 9:30 - 11:30 am, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.
