Richard Walter Roes

Richard Walter Roes, 92, of Westminster, MD, formerly of Pikesville, MD, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at his home. Born on February, 26, 1932, in Pikesville, MD, he was the son of the late Carl Walter Roes and Marguerite Oler Roes. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances Ann Roes, who passed away in 2016.

Richard was a veteran of the United States Army.  Years ago, he worked as a quality control supervisor.  When he was younger, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and downhill skiing. In more recent years, he enjoyed golfing.  Richard had a talent of fixing almost anything and was a great handyman.

Surviving him are children: John Carl Roes, Jeffrey Richard Roes and Darlene Frances Marguerite Roes-Sandow and husband Jim, and grandchildren: Mary Frances and Isabel Noel Roes.

Richard was predeceased by his sister.

Funeral services and interment are private.

Arrangements are by the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., Owings Mills, MD.
