Richard Harvey Woerner, Jr., 67, of Manchester, died Wednesday February 16, 2011 at his home.
Born Jan. 21, 1944 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Richard Harvey Woerner, Sr. and Mary Evelyn Vann. He was the husband of Carol Warfield Rau-Woerner.
He was an inventory technician for Fisher Bio Services.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters Pamela Bounds of North Carolina, Linda Meehan of Arbutus, Laura Knowles of Baltimore, and Michelle Rau-Mooney of Manchester; his sons William Rau of Manchester, David Rau of Indiana, Patrick Rau of Baltimore, and Christopher Rau of Westminster; his step mother Dortha Woerner of Calvert County; his brothers Alan Woerner and David and Donald Weiford; his sisters Nancy Hardy, Cheryl and Brenda Woerner, Bonnie Henderson and Joanne Weiford; and also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Linda Lewis officiating.
Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville.
