Ricky Allen Tipton

Ricky Allen Tipton, 55 of Manchester, MD. passed suddenly Wednesday April 19,2017 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born Oct. 31,1961 in Hanover, Pa. he was the son of Charlotte Ruth Bookhultz Tipton of Manchester, MD. and the late George Tipton. He was the husband of the late Nancy Ellen Tipton.

He worked in distribution for Penguin Random House in Westminster. Years ago, he worked in construction for McCormick Construction and Atlantic Builders. He enjoyed history and gardening.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is a daughter; Rachael Renee Tipton of Manchester, siblings; Patricia Sayers and husband John of Upperco, MD., Leanne Miller and companion, Jon Crist of Hanover, PA. and Georgie Tipton and wife Donna of Upperco, MD. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister; Teresa Tipton and nephew; Justin Tipton.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD. on Saturday April 22, 2017 from 6-9pm. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
