Robert Milton "Bob" Dickerson, Sr., 71, of Eldersburg died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born August 20, 1941 in Milton, Del., he was the son of the late Helen Aliene Johnson. He was the former spouse of Patricia Manolovich of Manchester.
He was a computer programmer working with Social Security. In his spare time, he enjoyed outdoor sports, scuba diving, sky diving, skiing, and dancing the jitterbug and ball room dancing.
Surviving are his children Kelli Dickerson of Sykesville, Kaaren Priester and husband T.C. of Manchester, Kim Dickerson of Baltimore, and Robert M. Dickerson, Jr. and wife Jin-Hee of Fairbanks, Alaska; his siblings Richard Dickerson and Dorlene Fox both of Delaware; his 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakland United Methodist Church, 5901 Mineral Hill Road, Sykesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
