Robert "Bob" Allen Warner, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Allen Warner, Sr., 87, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026. Born on December 8, 1938, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Carroll Nelson Warner, Sr. and Mary Adele (Sheaffer) Warner. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Maretta Estella (Utz) Warner.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He was also a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church for 54 years. He dedicated 46 years of his working life to A&P Food Company, where he held many positions throughout his career, including assistant manager. After retirement, Bob worked at Westminster National Golf Course, where he spent 20 years in lawn maintenance. Bob had a true passion for golfing and loved spending time on the course. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to car shows and sprint car races with his sons, eating MD steamed crabs and family dinners. Bob cherished his family and loved being a grandfather and great-grandfather.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: R. “Allen” Warner, Jr., Marla Renee Ciekot, Todd Christopher Warner, grandchildren: Bethany and Brandon Ciekot, great-granddaughter: Evelyn Ciekot, and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was predeceased by his brothers: Carroll “Bud” Nelson Warner, Jr., Wayne Warner, and nephew: Ron Warner.

A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at St. Marks Church of Snydersburg, 1616 Cape Horn Road, Hampstead, MD 21074. The visitation with family will be held from 10 AM until time of service at 12 PM.
