Robert "Bob" Eugene Behegan, Sr.

Robert "Bob" Eugene Behegan, Sr., 84, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at his home. Born on April 10, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son to the late Timothy Joseph and Edith Meadow Parrish Behegan. He was the beloved husband to Monica Kay Bergen Behegan.

Years ago, Bob was a manager with Allied Signal. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and member of Northwest Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his children: Cindy Huggins and husband Mark of Owings Mills, MD, Robert Behegan, Jr. and wife Nichole of Hanover, PA, John Behegan and wife Angela of Finksburg, MD, Tammy Peery and husband Aaron of Manchester, MD. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Linda, Krystal, Wyatt, Dalton, Amirra, Irelynn, Evie, Summer, Carter, Kylie, and Cavan, great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Benjamin, and brother: Timothy Joseph Behegan III of Finksburg, MD.

He was predeceased by his sister: Jacqueline Baker.

Family will receive visitors for a memorial gathering on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a memorial service will follow beginning at 8pm.

Interment is private.
