Robert Pasquale Filippelli

ROBERT PASQUALE FILIPPELLI, 99, of Reisterstown, husband of the late Mary Claire Dougher Filippelli, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2023, after a brief illness. He leaves to mourn his two sisters, Rosemary Markel and Nancy Montgomery; his five children, Mary, Frank, Cecilia Hazel, Kathleen, and Michael (Elaine) Filippelli; his ten grandchildren and their spouses; eighteen great-grandchildren; and thirteen nieces and nephews.  Bob was predeceased by his beloved daughter-in-law, Ria Meagher Filippelli, and his brother, Rev. Francis Patrick Filippelli.

Bob was a 1941 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School, he proudly served his country as a Navy pilot, flying carrier-based fighters F4F Wildcats and F6F Hellcats during WWII, and he was a 1949 graduate of Villanova University. Bob was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, member of the Immaculate Lady Council, Sacred Heart Church, Glyndon.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 2nd from 4:00-7:00 PM at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 3rd at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071. Interment will be private.
