Robert Thomas Fishpaugh (RTF, Bob, or Fish), a beloved son, brother, dad, grandfather, friend, and passionate golfer, passed away at the age of 91 on March 5, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, dedication, and hard work.

Born on October 19,1932, in Baltimore, MD., he was the son of the late Robert A. and Josie Sarah Benson Fishpaugh. He was the adored husband of Margaret R. Fishpaugh for 68 years.

Growing up alongside his four sisters Betty, Peggy, Joan, and Ann. Bob spent his early years in Lutherville. Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Jeffrey R. Fishpaugh and wife Kathy, Kathy L. Black and husband Brad, and Brian D. Fishpaugh and wife Lt. Gen Dash Jamieson, USAF retired, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren with one on the way.

Bob's life was marked by always living his life with God, Family, Work, and his Passion. He graduated from Towson Catholic High School. He embarked on a journey that would shape his life in more ways than one when he began caddying at age 13 at Country Club of Maryland. He was the MD. State Junior Golf Champion. Bob continued to pursue his golf passion, playing with friends, affectionately known as the Tri Valley Golf Group, and was a member of Piney Branch Golf Club until he was 80 years old - a remarkable span of 67 years on the green.

Joining the Army in 1953, Bob served with the 11th Airborne at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and later attending MP school at the 82nd Airborne in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was stationed in Linz, Austria, from April 1953 to February 1955.

Bob's career started as a Land Surveyor in Baltimore with the Beavin Company and later followed his dream to be his own boss. He opened RTF Associates, Inc in Westminster in 1972 and with hard work and dedication he built relationships within in Carroll County and was the Land Surveying company people could trust. He worked there into his 80's and then transferred ownership to his primary employees. The RTF Legacy is still being carried on today.

He was a man of many talents, Bob coached basketball at Sacred Heart, played slow-pitch softball, remained an avid golfer, and took great enjoyment in watching all his grandkids in sports and activities and never missed an event even if it was out of state. He was a Horse Racing enthusiast and was an avid Baltimore Oriole's fan and the University of MD - Terps basketball and women's lacrosse fan.
As we bid farewell to Bob, we take solace in knowing that his spirit will forever remain in the cherished memories he leaves behind. May he rest in peace, forever teeing off in the greens of eternity.
