Robert David Gerald, 86, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Autumn Lake at LongView HealthCare in Manchester, MD. Born on October 7, 1939, in Pikesville, MD, he was the son of the late William and Agnes (Chenoweth) Gerald. He was the beloved husband of the late Naomi Ruth Gerald, who passed away in 1998.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a groundskeeper and mechanic for a golf course.
Robert is survived by his sisters: Frances Cash and Ellen Sommers, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 6, at 1 pm, at Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD.
Arrangements are by the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., Manchester, MD.
