Robert Clifton Holland

Robert Clifton Holland, 88, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. Born on June 29, 1928 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Wilber Payne and Mary Valiant Holland. He was the husband of the late Joan Dunn Holland.

Robert was a retired police officer and worked for the Baltimore City Police Department for 28 years. His favorite pastimes included playing golf, watching horse races and games of the Ravens and the Orioles, and playing Gin Rummy with his daughter.

Surviving him are children: Sharon Ann Corwell and husband Harry, Robert Craig Holland and girlfriend Susan Strayer, grandchildren: Tiffany Audlin and husband Kevin, Brandon Holland and wife Christina, and Kyle Bures, great grandchildren: Abigail and Sidney Audlin, and Brayden and Cora Holland.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 11, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12, at 10 am, officiated by Pastor Vivian McCarthy. Interment to follow in Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
