Robert Patrick Jennings

Robert "Bob" Patrick Jennings, 76, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, MD. Born on January 1, 1943, in Camp Atterbury, IN, he was the son of the late George and Louise Jennings. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Ann Jackson Jennings.

Years ago, Bob worked as a sales executive for Coca Cola, and more recently in sales, for the Carroll County Times. A devout catholic, he was a faithful member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church of Manchester, MD. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Surviving him are children: Laurie Vincent, and Tess Demidenko and husband Michael, grandchildren: James Jennings, Andrew Demidenko, and Larissa Demidenko, and siblings: Sr. Virginia Jennings of Dubuque, IA, Mike Jennings and Carol Watchorn, both of Sioux City, IA, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at a memorial gathering on Monday, December 23, from 6-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a prayer service will be held at 7 pm.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date. Interment is private.
