Robert Bowers Knock, 90, of Baltimore, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.
Born Dec. 23, 1921, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles M. Knock Sr. and Olive Elizabeth Bowers Knock. He was the husband of the late Esther Ward Knock and Lois Ruth Krug Knock.
He was a veteran of the Army, having served during World War II.
Surviving are daughter Patricia A. and husband J. Allan Potter Jr., of Reisterstown; stepdaughter Claire K. and husband John N. Cox, of Charlotte, N.C.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Charles M. Knock Jr.; and a sister, Olive Elizabeth Avery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at Augsburg Lutheran Home, 6811 Campfield Road, Baltimore. Interment will be in Lorraine Park Cemetery in Woodlawn.
