Robert Bruce Korrell

Robert Bruce Korrell, 83, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at his home. Born on March 7, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Robert William Korrell and Clarabell (Huebner) Korrell. He was the beloved husband of Nancy Jean Korrell.

Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He previously worked for Baltimore City Police Department and later became a bailiff for the Carroll County Court House. He also was a former real estate agent. Robert was a freemason and was a member of Door to Virtue #46 A.F & A.M. Westminster, MD

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Bryan Korrell of New Alexandria, PA, Peggy Brothers of Manchester, MD, and Ken Korrell of Urbana, MD. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 25, from 5-7 pm and on Saturday, September 26, from 10-11 am, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am.

Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered for the continued care and support of his loving wife as she is in a memory care facility due to dementia/Alzheimer’s. Donations may be issued and mailed to “Peggy Brothers” P.O. Box 389, Manchester, MD 21102.
