Robert Lankford age 70 of New Windsor died Monday Feb. 9, 2015 at his home surrounded by family.
Born September 23, 1944 in Baltimore County, he was the son of the late Charles Edward and Mary Catherine Schollian Lankford. He was the husband of Claire Elizabeth Harrison Lankford his wife of 48 years.
He was retired and enjoyed wood working, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Barbara Goehringer and husband John of Accident, MD and Kimberly Shilling and husband Michael of New Windsor, MD, grandchildren, Robert, Bradford, and Brady Benton all of Accident, MD, Mikey, Robby and Krista Shilling of New Windsor, MD and great grandchildren, Alex and Natalie Benton. He was also survived by four brothers and life-long friends, Dick Roberts and Joe Myers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday Feb. 11, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd., Owings Mills, MD with prayers at 5:00pm.
Interment will be private.
