Robert Amoss Love, Sr. 80 years old, of Garrison, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born June 8, 1929 in Owings Mills, he was the son of the late James Vernon Love and Mabel E. Bowen Love.
He was predeceased by his previous wives, Dora Lee Love and Bessie L. Love.
Mr. Love enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling around the country and going to casinos.
He is survived by his son, Robert A. Love, Jr., daughter Nancy Parkins, step-son Elmer Huttenberger, brothers, Jerry W. Love and Charles A. Love, Sr., 2 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, his companion of almost 20, years, Shirley Troxell, her children and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Vernon Leroy Love, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
