Robert Noah Rill

Robert Noah Rill, 82, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Harrisburg UPMC in Harrisburg, PA.  Born on October 22, 1941, in Hampstead, MD, he was the son of the late John M. Rill and Grace Clare Yingling Rill.  He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Dorothy Mary Grammer Rill, who passed away in 2010.

Robert was a lifelong farmer.  Years ago, he retired from Hughes Trash Removal as a truck driver.  He also ran the gas station in Hampstead as an auto mechanic and during the summer months he had his vegetable stand.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving him are children: Robin Mundorff, Rachel Petenbrink, Randy Rill, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings: Elsie Hackler, Mary Anne Rudisill, Myrtle Rill, and George Rill.

Robert was predeceased by his son: Richard Noah Rill and brother: Maurice Rill.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 10, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, and on Thursday, January 11, from 10-11 am, with the funeral to begin at 11 am.

Interment to follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
