Robert Dwayne Robertson, Sr.

Robert Dwayne Robertson, Sr. passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 22, 2023 in Manchester, MD. Robert was born November 1, 1965 to Granvel E. Robertson and Claudine C. Robertson in Baltimore MD. before moving to Carroll County MD in 1984. Robert was a very devoted, caring and loving husband to Diane Robertson of Manchester, MD.

Rob enjoyed being outside. Growing up, he enjoyed many hunting trips with his father and brothers. He enjoyed doing landscaping, home repairs or just tinkering on cars and trucks in the garage. If family or friends needed a helping hand, he was there with his work boots on and ready to work. Those who met him, could not help but to like him. He was funny and quick to tell a joke to make you laugh. Every time anyone saw him, he just brought a smile to your face. He had such a big heart and will be missed greatly.

Surviving him in addition to his wife and parents are his brothers David W. Robertson of Perryville, MD and Granvel E. Robertson Jr. of Sykesville MD. and his sister Mary L. Andrews of Hanover, PA. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Linda Robertson and Denise Robertson, and a brother in-law Steven Andrews. He was a devoted father to his children Robert D. Robertson Jr. of Hanover, PA. and Heather Gecys of Finksburg, MD. He was a devoted step father to his step children Joseph Constantine of Hampstead, MD. and Shelby Chaffman of Baltimore, MD. He was a doting grandfather to his grandchildren Michael, Knox, Benjamin and Noah Fried, Lacey Dranbauer and Brianna Dranbauer.

Celebration of Life will be for all family and friends at the American Legion Post #200, 4600 Legion Lane, Hampstead, MD. 21074 on April 8, 2023, from 1-4 pm.
