Robert Richards Taylor, Sr.

Robert Richards Taylor, Sr, 78, of Reisterstown, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown. Born on February 8, 1945, in Elkins, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Wade Taylor and Mary Louise (Richards) Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances Anne Taylor.

Robert worked as a GM Parts Manager and a Salesman at Montgomery Automotive before retiring in 2013. He was a faithful servant at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church where he oversaw many projects over the decades. He enjoyed golf and hunting. He loved his family immensely.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Cindy Anne Linthicum and husband Danny of Baltimore, and Robert Richards Taylor, Jr. of San Angelo, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Layne Thomas Taylor and Breanna Clariese Taylor both of San Angelo, TX.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with a funeral service beginning at 7:30 pm at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD. 21117.

Interment will be private.
