Robert Fulton Whye, Sr. age 86 of Reisterstown, MD died Thursday Feb. 12, 2015 at his home.
Born May 5, 1928 in Cockeysville, MD he was the son of the late Earl and Lillian Jackson Whye. He was the husband of the late Thelma Mamie Mack Whye who died in 1996.
He was a retired truck driver for Arundel Corp and a member of Teamsters Local 311.
He is survived by his children, Valerie Carter and husband Clarence of Reisterstown, Robert Whye, Jr. and wife Terry of Finksburg, Barbara Graham and husband Evans of Randallstown, Thomas Whye and wife Jeri of Reisterstown, Margaret Whye of Reisterstown, Lisa Williams of Reisterstown, and James Whye, grandchildren, Kelly, Clarence, Nicole, Jessica, Jason, James, Jr., Briana, Brandon, Aiyana and JaBrea, 3 great grandchildren and his siblings, Lenora Berry of Baltimore, Elizabeth Whye of Towson, Clarence Whye of Baltimore and Herman Whye of Towson.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy Figgs and Mary Williams and his granddaughter Janay Whye.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 10:00am – 12:00 noon at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where a service will begin at 12:00pm.
Interment in St. Lukes Church Cemetery, Reisterstown.
