Ronald Janna Martin age 76 of Manchester, MD. died Saturday Oct. 19, 2013 at his home.
Born Oct. 30, 1936 in Hanover, PA. he was the son of the late Melvin W. and Daisy May Ruby Martin. He was the husband of 55 years to Janet Eleanor Hale Martin.
He was a retired manager for Congoleum where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming, Horse Pulls, Horse Shows, Auctions and John Deere tractors.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Brian Martin and fiancé Gail Mancha and Keith Martin and wife Susan all of Glen Rock, PA. granddaughters, Jessica Martin of Glenville, PA. and Jennifer Farber of Spring Grove, PA. He was also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Wednesday at 10:30am with the Rev. Dr. Jarrett Wicklein officiating.
Interment will be in Salem U. M. Church cemetery, Hampstead, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-9 pm. at the funeral home.
