Ronald John Mattfeld

Ronald John Mattfeld, 66, of Manchester, MD, passed away, Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at his home.  Born on March 22, 1952, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Norman and Ethel Marie Mattfeld.  He was the husband of Roberta Wainwright Mattfeld.

Ronald was a manufacturing engineer for Middle River Aircraft.  He was a member of Millers United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and crabbing.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Kelly Marie Mattfeld of Elkridge, MD, and Jamie Renee Gallagher of California, siblings:  Richard Mattfeld of Baltimore, MD, Donna Cook of York, PA, and Kathy Beury of Street, MD.

He was predeceased by a sister: Jeanette Bowman.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 1, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, at 10 am. Interment will be private.
