Ronald Franklin Sine, Sr., 72, of Temperanceville, VA formerly of Reisterstown, died Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Peninsula General Hospital in Salisbury.
Born September 22, 1941 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Boyd Franklin Sine and Mary Elizabeth Gifford Sine. He was the husband of Mary Louise Austin Sine, who died in 2008.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served from 1958-1962. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for Mitchell Transportation and Schuster Concrete as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and traveling, especially with his wife. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his sons Ronald F. Sine, Jr. and wife Brandy, and Richard W. Sine and wife Susan; his grandchildren Taylor, Benjamin, Ben Allen, Zachary, Austin, and Angelina; and his siblings George Sine, Joanne Guarino, and Joyce Mellema.
He was predeceased by his brother Charles Sine.
The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. followed by a private cremation at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel and the interment will be private.
