Rosalie Faulk, 85, of Manchester, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 12, 1941, in Leechburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Loretta Marranconi. She was the beloved wife of the late John Edgar Faulk, who preceded her in death in 2015.

Rosalie retired from the University of Maryland after a dedicated career as a Food Services Manager. While she took great pride in her work, her greatest joy and life's purpose were found in being a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for and supporting her family, always placing their needs above her own. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by the people she loved, creating memories that her family will cherish forever.

A devoted Catholic, Rosalie's faith was the foundation of her life, providing her with strength, compassion, and unwavering hope. She also found great joy in the friendships she cultivated over the years. Whether attending senior trips, gathering for card games, or simply spending time with her dear friends, she treasured the laughter, companionship, and memories they shared.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosalie was preceded in death by her daughter, Leann, and all nine of her siblings: Mary, Joseph, Philomena, Elizabeth, Stella, Albert, George, Amedio, and Louis.

She is survived by her loving children, Antoinette (Storm) Brooke, Lester Faulk, and Belinda Faulk Messinese and husband Joe.; her cherished grandchildren, Danny Akers, Mark Akers, Stacy Fischer, Patrick Fischer II, Kayla Messinese, John King, Cody Faulk, Leslie Faulk, Wyatt Faulk, Lauren Messinese, and Emily Bonitz; her great-grandchildren, Samantha Akers, Brittani Akers, Olivia Akers, Jeremy Koch, Gracie Akers, and Jayden King; and her great-great-grandchildren, Makuye Freeman, Cicuye Freeman, Nasir Freeman, Leia Bishop and Luna Hunt and many nieces and nephews.

Rosalie will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering faith, generous spirit, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the generations of family she cherished so deeply.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL. P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. A funeral mass will be held on the same day, Friday, July 3, 2026, at 5:00 pm at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD. Interment will be at scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rosalie Faulk’s name to BridgingLife Hospice Care, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157 or St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, P.O. Box 448, Manchester, MD 21102.
